1998 to 2003  Studies in art history, history and German at the Cologne University (concluded with degree in 2003, master’s thesis: “The strategy of Joseph Beuys”).

2003 to 2005  Academic researcher for Prof. Antje von Graevenitz at the Art Historical Institute of Cologne University.

2006 Doctorate in art history (“The obligation to speak and the flow of silence - The bibliophilical works of Günther Uecker”).

2006 to 2007 Internship at at the firm Thurnfilm in Cologne.
